Metronidazole – Alhavi (125 mg/5 mL Suspension) is an antibiotic produced by Alhavi Pharmaceutical.
It is commonly used to treat anaerobic bacterial and protozoal infections.
Metronidazole is effective in treating infections of the skin, bones, joints, soft tissues, vagina, pelvis, gastrointestinal tract, lungs (pneumonia), and bloodstream (septicemia).
It is also indicated for the treatment of amebiasis and trichomoniasis and is used prophylactically to prevent infections before gynecological and abdominal surgeries.

Metronidazole – Alhavi is indicated for:
• Treatment of anaerobic bacterial and protozoal infections
• Infections of the skin, bones, joints, and soft tissues
• Gastrointestinal and pelvic infections
• Vaginal and gynecological infections
• Respiratory infections (such as pneumonia)
• Septicemia and endocarditis
• Amebiasis and trichomoniasis
• Prevention of post-surgical infections in abdominal and gynecological procedures
Use as directed by a physician.
Dosage and duration depend on the type and severity of infection.
Shake well before use.
Take with or after food to minimize stomach discomfort.
Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment and for at least 48 hours after the last dose.
