About Alhavi Pharmaceutical

Alhavi Pharmaceutical was established in May 1968 under the name “Parke-Davis” on a 22,000 m² site at Km 12 of the Karaj Special Road. In 1982, the company was renamed “Alhavi,” inspired by Al-Hawi fi al-Tibb by Zakariya al-Razi (Rhazes)—an encyclopedic work compiled over 15 years. Together with Avicenna’s Canon, Al-Hawi remained one of Europe’s most influential medical references up to the early 20th century, combining prior knowledge with Razi’s clinical notes from Baghdad and Ray.

Today, with nearly half a century of heritage, over 500 experienced employees, and 80+ products, Alhavi is among Iran’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. We follow international standards and modern technologies to improve public health outcomes.

In March 2016 (Esfand 1394), Alhavi achieved OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, and ISO 10015. All products are manufactured under GMP standards, with APIs sourced from GMP-approved suppliers and tested per current global pharmacopoeias.

Our capabilities span multiple dosage forms—tablets, capsules, syrups, elixirs, suspensions, and drops—distributed nationwide. We continue to expand innovative medicines and dietary supplements, modernize production lines, and plan licensed manufacturing with leading European partners.
