Cyproheptadine 4 mg is an antihistamine produced by Alhavi Pharmaceutical.
It is used to treat allergy symptoms such as hay fever, urticaria (hives), cold-induced hives, itching, and allergic conjunctivitis.
Cyproheptadine is also used in the management of vascular or cluster migraine headaches.
Additionally, it can be prescribed to stimulate appetite and promote weight gain in children.
In some cases, it is used as an adjunctive treatment to manage side effects of antidepressant medications, such as excessive sweating or sexual dysfunction.

Cyproheptadine is indicated for:
• Treatment of allergy symptoms (hay fever, hives, itching, allergic conjunctivitis)
• Management of vascular or cluster migraine headaches
• Appetite stimulation and weight gain in children
• Adjunctive therapy to alleviate side effects of antidepressants (e.g., excessive sweating, sexual dysfunction)
Use as directed by a physician.
The dosage and duration depend on age, medical condition, and response to treatment.
Take with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
