Apretex 80/125 (Aprepitant)

Apretex 80/125 (Aprepitant) is a selective, high-affinity antagonist of human substance P/neurokinin 1 (NK1) receptors, produced by Alhavi Pharmaceutical.
It acts synergistically with 5-HT3 antagonists and corticosteroids to prevent nausea and vomiting.
Apretex is indicated for the prevention of acute and delayed nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, as well as for the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting.

Apretex 80/125 mg is indicated for:
• Prevention of acute and delayed nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy
• Prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting
It works by blocking NK1 receptors in the brain, inhibiting the action of substance P, a key neurotransmitter involved in the vomiting reflex.

Use as prescribed by a physician.
Typically administered in combination with other antiemetics (such as 5-HT3 antagonists and corticosteroids) before chemotherapy or surgery.
Swallow capsules whole with water. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
